If you’ve ever walked through the doors of BridgeLakes CrossFit, chances are you’ve felt the presence of our fearless leader—Coach PJ! She’s the heart and hustle behind everything we do, and today we’re shining the spotlight on the woman who keeps this community strong, motivated, and thriving.

A little about PJ ⏬

She and her husband Martin have been married for almost 20 years, and together they’ve built a beautiful life with their two amazing kids, Alex and Anthony. Their newest family member? Duke—a German Shepherd/Malinois rescue who has added a whole lot of excitement (and maybe a little chaos) to their home life. Think toddler energy, but with paws!

PJ’s favorite part of coaching? It’s the *small wins*. The smile after a PR, the moment someone nails their first double-under, or just seeing an athlete leave class a little more confident than when they walked in. 

“Every day is a chance to improve,” she says, “You just have to show up.”

When it comes to class vibes, PJ keeps the energy high with Hard Rock and 90’s rap—a perfect soundtrack for crushing your goals 🎶 🤘🏼

The hardest part is just walking through the doors. Once you’re here, we’ve got you. We’ll guide you, teach you, and help you build the confidence to crush your fitness journey. Just show up and trust the process!

‼️ You won’t find her out on the town—she’s a self-proclaimed homebody who loves home and the gym…with some travel mixed in 😏 

‼️ She’s currently working on learning more Spanish this year (¡Vamos, PJ!) 🇲🇽

‼️ She may say she’s boring, but we know she’s anything but!!
